We think we have time…

It’s been a rough nine months, starting last fall when our grandson was killed in a work accident leaving a grieving wife and five children. He was thirty.  ~ Ken Waddell

It was followed in April by the death of a good friend in a the town where I had lived when my late husband died. After a battle with cancer, he left a grieving wife and two children as well as a hole in the community. He was fifty. ~ Barry Brady

Then in June we lost our son-in-law, Eric Munson, to cancer. He left behind a grieving wife, five children, and an extended family and devastated community. ~ Eric Munson

This past week I’ve seen the loss of three more friends. Susan Patton, Deb Kendall, and Becky Werner. Suz was a motorcycling friend, Deb was an RVing friend, and Becky (age 36) was the daughter of long-time friends. Suz and Deb both fought cancer and Becky spent months of pain fighting necrotizing fasciitis.

~L toR: Susan Patton ~ Deb Kendall ~ Becky Werner

We always think we have plenty of time…but we never know. So take time now to tell your loved ones how much you care. Call, email, snail mail, make plans – just do it. Please!

Ciao for now!

Indeed . . . . My wife and I were at a funeral only two days ago of the son of very good friends of ours. He was only 42

Life is a fickle and fragile thing.

That’s a lot of loss in a short period of time, but your tribute and reminder is meaningful for all of us. God bless.

lost a grand niece this spring just 23. You guys have had a rough year..I have said for years the worst part of getting older is loosing the ones you love. Your right tell them soon, tell them often how much you love them
