Not much has been going on lately other than the usual household chores and a few maintenance items. We’ve had just enough rain to force Stu into mowing at least once a week (sometimes more). Thank goodness for the zero turn!
He did take a quick trip back to Maryland for the funeral of the youngest daughter of good friends. He also got to spend a little time with family. Not enough but we will be back in October for the month.
Yes, that’s Sadie, enjoying her summer (she likes drinking water out of the swim mask…lol).
After two weeks of hotter than normal weather for us, things cooled down and I talked Stu into hooking up the gas fire pit we bought last summer but never used. We spent a nice evening enjoying it. Not sure Cooper thought much of it initially…lol.
Stu has been checking things off his to do list but one item has had to wait until he could crawl on his hands. Yup, he needed to go into our crawl space and do a few things. But he knew how to prep for it!
Here are the #2doods waiting for their peanut butter fix…then enjoying it together.
This weekend is the famous 127 Yard Sale. That means we will avoid US 127 as much as possible. Stu may take a run out on the bike, weather permitting, to peruse but I’ll stay home.
I hope your summer is progressing the way you wanted…we are already looking forward to the cooler temps of fall.
