If you read the previous blog, you know who Little Miss Muffet is. If not, go read it now. Done? Okay….on to the next day with the little princess.
We put her to bed in the same crate she had used off and on all day and left the second crate open for the #2doods to use (or not). They have slept outside their crates before so we weren’t worried about them.
As expected, she cried. And cried. And cried. It took close to an hour, but she fell asleep and we did, too. Shortly after 2 am, she woke me crying. I laid there for a bit but she didn’t stop so I got up and took her outside. Potty break accomplished, she was put back in her crate. A little more crying but mostly because she wanted company.
Stu got up with her and took the three of them out and then it was feeding time. No problems!
We were all loaded up and ready to head to Kentucky by 9 am. The #2doods love to travel, never been an issue. Well, the princess was great, too! No car sickness, she slept well once the car was moving, same as the big boys.
Two potty stops for her and less than four hours later, she was at her new home where she was warmly welcomed, by Grandma Beagle Lucy as well as Morgan and Taylor, her new parents.
These two have raised/trained dogs for years and have also fostered and rescued many different animals. I know she’s going to be happy and that makes us happy.
Here are a couple of photos I snapped on the trip up and back home. The drive was straight up US 127 with the 127 Yard Sale in almost full swing so we routed back slightly differently. Both drives were scenic and pleasant. [click the thumbnails to see the full image]
Here was a busy section of the yard sale shortly after we entered Kentucky.
On the ride home we saw an interesting sight – we weren’t sure what kind of UPS truck it was until we got closer!
And one final share – this is the brave Little Miss Muffet tackling Cooper and Murphy this morning!
Little Miss Muffet is so so cute. I love your photo of her in the clear container and her puppy eyes. I’m glad you found a new home for her. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Natalie. She was a heartbreaker…so glad she’d found a good home, too.
Glad you found her a good home…
We were so fortunate, she has a great home and we still get to see photos of her as she grows!

She was quickly worming her way into our hearts…last thing we needed was a third dog. LOL! She’s doing great in her new home!
I went and looked at all the pictures of her…so adorable.
Ohhhhh I love puppies and kittens! She’s just adorable and now I have to go back and read your earlier post to find out all the details. So glad she’s found a wonderful new home and she’ll be well looked after. Happy endings all round!
Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I’ve shared on my SM 🙂
Thanks, Leanne. She is already growing, will be fun to see what she looks like as an adult dog.
