A lot has happened in two weeks – here’s a brief synopsis.
- Stu started construction of a shed on the back of the pole barn that will house his big compressor
- Stu planned out his two week motorcycle trip to Florida to see family & friends
- We headed to Bristol TN for the NASCAR dirt races – a long weekend
- I saw a hand/wrist specialist about my left hand
- We got our 2nd COVID vaccination
- Stu got lab work done for his doctor appointment next week
- Stu got his permanent crown (broke a tooth a month ago)
- Flowers are popping, trees are blooming!
1) See photos and discussion HERE
2) He will leave on Thursday, rain or not, since he has given everyone the dates he will visit with them. Hoping he has good weather! And, he’d better take photos!!!
3) Writing a separate post today about our race weekend, read it HERE.
4) I saw Dr. Ivy in Knoxville, the same doctor Stu saw for his carpel tunnel syndrome surgery. As expected, it’s osteoarthritis, the cartilage in my thumb joint is just about gone. So keep doing what I am and it the pain gets too bad or prolonged, come back in for a cortisone shot.
5) We fared pretty well. We both had sore arms for the first 48 hours, but nothing overly severe. Stu got hit with the heavy fatigue for the first couple of days. I got a slight chill the first night, passed quickly. Slight headache but that could have been sinus. Days two and three my stomach was queasy. Day four, all is good!
6) Stu gets his annual checkup on Wednesday, just before leaving for his trip. We don’t expect anything unexpected (that sounds weird).
7) No issues with the crown, not like last time when he ended up with a root canal. Eeep!
8) The flowers and trees are starting to pop…
Of course, that means the weeds are, too! Stu will be taking his torch to them…eventually.
And then there are those bulbs that were missed and now will have to be dug up (and hopefully we don’t kill the evergreen). LOL!
