I know I’ve mentioned doing the Wool& 100 Day Dress Challenge before. Well, guess what? Today is day 100! I made it. If you’re interested in how it went, I just made a reflections post on the blog. Check it out!
We both plan to use merino as much as possible for our two month trip to Europe next fall. It travels well, resists wrinkles, provides days of wear before needing to be washed, and packs small. Oh, and it works in all weather temperatures. Stu has loved wearing a 250gsm long-sleeve base layer under his fleece cardigans this winter. Me, well, the Everett has been layered over and under both merino and synthetics.
Not much else is new – lots of appointments this week including my doing a thirty minute talk about writing at the local senior center. Eeeep! The weather has been great since the big wind blast that took out our roof. The back door to the deck has been opened for days, which both the pups and I love. Stu has managed to get the lawn mowed and done all the necessary weed eating done. That makes him happy.
Yes, life is good!
