Another day’s work done…

Stu started the day early and didn’t quit until around seven PM last night. He got a lot done and that’s good because it’s raining today and all he can do is wave out the window at the project. He started the day by picking up our new patio set at Lowe’s and it joined our new Blackstone grill in the pole barn where they will both be stored until the deck is done.

Then it was back home to continue the demolition. But he had another project in mind that would help him with moving the old wood up to the dumpster in the driveway as well as moving the new lumber from the driveway to the back yard. He made a long trailer he can pull with his lawn tractor. He testing it and it worked great.

Here are some photos taken throughout the day…

He was concerned if he would be able to get the concrete out around the two posts but it was much easier than he thought. He was shocked at how shallow they were!

I managed to catch a couple of action shots of Stu tossing stuff onto his trailer.

All in all, a very productive day. Cooper took it easy, playing with his new flat crinkle duck. Turn up your volume!

Ciao for now!

WOW that was some work day Stu put in! How creative with the trailer and “working smarter not harder” for sure. For some reason I thought Stu was having a helper.
