If you look on the right hand side of my desktop screenshot, you can now see icons that make sense in place of the traditional folder icons. This provides a much quicker view of what is in each folder. I know this may be a small thing to some, but it’s HUGE for me!
Below is a screenshot of my Downloads folder in Finder. I’ve changed two of the folder icons there as well as all the folder alias icons.
To figure out how to do this (unless you are eons ahead of me and already knew how), go to THIS PAGE for the instructions. There is a pull-down to choose the OS you are running. It’s easy peasy to do!!
