No, that’s not the new thing… As Stu gets closer to actually working on a project car, he decided he wanted a big whiteboard where he can track various things without chasing pieces of paper everywhere or squinting at his iPad. So off to Amazon we went and found the large magnetic whiteboard he wanted. It’s 3 feet wide and 2 feet high.
The next thing was to decide how to display it. Since the inside walls aren’t finished (still need foam insulation), he built an easel. Yes, he is that talented. Here are some photos.
As you can see, he’s already started to use it. The next project will be to enclose and finish the office area.
One other thing that has been added is a way for me to get hold of Stu when he’s in the barn. Often he is wearing ear protection and doesn’t realize I sent him a message on his phone (or tried to walkie-talkie him on his watch). We ordered a red flashing hazard light as well as a strobe light bulb. Both are plugged into a smart plug and I can turn them on from wherever I am. That tells him to check his phone messages. We’ve used it a couple of times and he sometimes notices it right away, other times, not so quickly. LOL!

Wife has some balance problems and has fallen several times. Since I am hearing impaired, she has a hard time getting in touch with me. She is tech illiterate, so phone to a strobe light won’t work. Needs to be something on a lanyard that she wears that sends a msg to my phone. Do you know of anything?
They are called Caregiver Alarms. This was one of the better ones I found that doesn’t require monthly payments to a 24/7 alert company. https://amzn.to/41WYaqe
Love the new additions based on common sense!
I’m heading your way in my upcoming travels can I park my Class C by the barn to visit? 🤞 I have solar, so don’t need a 30-amp hookup space. 😘 — CoolJudy
We have 50 amp hookups by the house AND the pole barn (with water). You’re more than welcome!
