Just a short blog post this week. Stu left Wednesday on a quick trip to Maryland to see family and friends as well as getting a couple of other things taken care of up there. We haven’t been there since last October and not sure if we will be there in the spring or fall next year.
He had an uneventful trip and enjoyed nice weather until late Thursday when the sky let loose. Fortunately, he was driving the pickup and not on the bike. Here are some of the photos he’s shared so far…

Next week he has several lunches arranged with family and friends plus a cleaning at the dentist. He’s already got his hearing checked. Yup, a productive trip.
Me? Working on the computer, fighting a low battery smoke detector during the early (REAL early) morning hours, dealing with dog barf, and having a on-going battle with my mouse misbehaving. But hey, I did get this great photo of a Walking Stick on our front porch. He was about 5″ long!
Plans are for him to leave on Saturday, hopefully arriving home on Sunday. In the meantime, I’ll keep battling onward!

There for a minute, at the end when you were talking about the Walking Stick, your next statement threw me off. How do you know the Walking Stick will leave on Saturday and be home on Sunday. How do you know where the Walking Stick’s home is? Evidently, I need another cup of coffee, clean my glasses, or get away from the computer for a little while! 🤣🤣🤣
