December? Tomorrow? Can’t be!

Soon 2020 will be gone, replaced with 2021 (and no one is going to miss it). Hoping everyone had a decent Thanksgiving holiday. Ours was quiet, as is the norm. Stu cooked a fantastic dinner and we ate in the living room while binge watching “The 100” (we’re in the final season).

We cooked a boneless, ready to roast, turkey breast in our little oven. So easy – we’ll do the same next year.

The plates are actually McNicol china, we have quite a few pieces. All vintage and very heavy!

Even the #2doods were patient…

We had some severe weather during the week and woke up to find our neighbor’s old metal shed in our backyard! Once the rain stopped, they came over and cut it up, sending it back over the fence. LOL!

Stu got the final clear polycarbonate roofing panels (leftovers from the pole barn) put up on the north side of our deck. Last year we used plastic sheeting and it worked but was noisy in the wind and cloudy. This is much better and can be reused next year.

We love this because it not only blocks the wind, it blocks the rain and snow that coats underneath the deck roof. Much nicer for us and the #2doods.

Then, with the help from a neighbor and his equipment, he also finished closing in the water/power trench for the pole barn.

Our teenage neighbor is on the back as the duo takes the tractor back home. Big help!

Last week we shared some sunrise pics that Stu captured on his phone. This week it’s some sunset pics I captured on mine.

We’ve started putting up decorations – I need to change the front door hanger and Stu needs to put up the outside lights and bows. Photos to follow next week!

Ciao for now!
