The surgery went well, I will eventually post more details later, here on my personal blog. Today we can take the dressing off my shoulder and I can take quick showers. The nerve block has almost completely dissipated. My pain is pretty well controlled with Tylenol and Aleve, I’d rather not take the opioid Rx if I can avoid it.
Sleep is off and on, a few hours at a time. I’m mostly watching TV with sporadic checks of email and social media. So all in all, things are going well. My follow-up appointment is July 7th.
