Yes, that’s the truth! September is a super busy month for us (and especially me). October I can take a breath (I hope). So far this month I have the following going on:
- Finish selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace (what doesn’t sell by Friday goes to donation)
- Go through filing and set up new 4 drawer file cabinet (new folder, new organization)
- Rearrange closet, move fall/winter clothes off shelf into bins & spring/summer clothes up to shelf
- Finish writing Slay Ride (book 3 of a cute holiday cozy mystery series, Holiday Corner)
- Finish editing Slay Ride
- Set up the pre-order for Slay Ride
- Create graphics for book promotions I am sponsoring
- Get all my Amazon books downloaded to my new Kindle Paperwhite
- Finish getting all my books moved back into Kindle Unlimited (sign up here – 3 months free)
- Get bloodwork done (tomorrow)
- Celebrate my 75th birthday (YAY!) with a movie & dinner at Olive Garden
- Annual doctor appointment
- Annual mammogram
- On the 28th, leave for 9 days of Caribbean cruising on the Carnival Freedom out of Port Canaveral
When we return from our much needed cruise, it will almost be the middle of October. Yikes! Good thing my schedule is pretty open until the next cruise in late November. I hope to get Ventis & Victims (book 1 in my Red lIne Coffee Series) finished, edited, and published before that cruise. (Keep your fingers crossed for me!)
Stu? Still working on the STUFF in his pole barn. He plans to get the lift he wants ordered, delivered and setup some time this fall. Lots of moving stuff around in preparation. he also needs to build the office space. He got enough moved so our fifth wheel could go back inside. This winter, he will clean/fix it and we hope to sell it this spring.
And the #2doods? Lots of cool weather napping for them – in and out of the house. They were helping me in the office in the first photo and keeping my company on the deck in the second. I am loving it being cool enough to have my first cup of coffee out on the deck.
In closing, here is a little friend Stu found climbing our fence…
