Not much news here, pretty much the same old – same old. I’ve been spending most of my days in the office, getting things ready for our next two weeks of cruising along with all the daily stuff that pops up. I’m still dropping a TikTok video each day, but they are mostly short, silly videos of me. You can check it out here (and you don’t need to join but do to like/comment/follow). I have also gotten in a little writing on Ventis & Victims, albeit less than I’d like. I hope to finish up the first draft while on the cruise and if all goes well, get it published on Amazon by the end of the year. Phew!
I’ve also spent time getting all our hotels booked for our European vacation next fall. Prices have gone up since we created our budget last July. And we’ve added in more countries/cities. We are SOOO looking forward to it.
Stu took a warm day and installed the new garage door opener we bought some time ago (at least a year because it was on his fall to-do list last year…giggle). The one we had was at least 10-12 years old or possibly even 15. It worked but we were having issues with the sensor and the sun hitting it in the afternoons. The new one was a breeze to put up, is much quieter, has a larger motor, and works wonderfully. We did have to buy new remotes (we need at least four and it came with one) as well as an outside key panel. We advertised the old opener for free to pickup in local groups and a young man came and took it all away. I hope it worked for him.
The weather has turned cold, we had some interesting skies and beautiful sunsets before the front moved through. Here’s a sample…

Sometimes not so convenient – Murphy plunked himself right in the door way. LOL!
We took them for a car ride with us, something they don’t normally get to do. Stu had taken the trike in for a 10k service and some repairs and we needed to go pick it up. They enjoyed it quite a bit!
