What a week!

You already know about losing our pup, Murphy, and you did hear about my heading to Colorado for my daughter’s double mastectomy as well as Stu’s trouble with the motorcycle when he headed home from Florida.

Here are the updates:

  • My flights were fine, no major issues, some highlights, no real lowlights. Hoping for the same when I head home next Wednesday.
  • The surgery went well. You can read more HERE about. how the day went and how she is doing.
  • Stu took the trike into the Harley dealership, transporting with our cargo trailer. He picked it up yesterday after a $2100 bill for a new front tire and bearings, new stator and voltage regulator, and the 40k service. Phew!
  • Cooper is sticking like glue to Stu and he is taking him with him wherever he goes. I know he is missing Murphy and even me (a little bit).
  • Stu had his annual physical, no major issues but found out he had an asymptomatic UTI (urinary tract infection). He’s been on antibiotics for a week and still dealing with some issues so is going back today.

So all in all, things are good. We have nothing major in the works right now. We hope to be able to rebuild our deck (making it a bit smaller at the same time) this spring. In May, one of our grandaughters graduates from high school in additions to two grandsons (all living in different states).

That’s all, folks.

Ciao for now!

It’s great that Stu is taking Cooper everywhere. He must be missing his brother, and you.

I also meant to write that I’m so glad your daughter’s surgery went well. Hoping for more good outcomes.
