Yesterday Stu started removing some former fence posts using his new high-lift. It worked quite well.
Then the deck demolition started in earnest. He took down the rest of the railings on the deck except one end where we have a gate, now used to keep Cooper off the railing-less deck. Here’s the before…

We knew the deck needed replacing, the last couple of springs Stu has done some board replacement, but after taking off all the railing we saw this.
Today the dumpster arrived and we have a week to get the deck down before they pick it up again.
And so it begins…
