…of driving. At least for Stu (ignore the silly photo). He drove the entire way to Maryland since we were taking our old cargo trailer up for family. I got to ride… But the traffic was quite light and we only had a couple of slow downs once we got closer to Baltimore. We managed an early start on both days and I’m sure that helped.
The weather was also good with just a little rain for short periods yesterday. The clouds were pretty and I took a few shots from the car.
After dropping off the cargo trailer, we stopped at Target. I had hoped to find a rain jacket but they had none. Zero. Zilch. Sigh…back to Amazon. Just before we left there, we ran into our grandson Jimmy (Stu’s late wife’s grandson) and our great-grandson, Hunter.
From there we headed to a local restaurant we like. Beer was first – they had Guiness on draft, making me one happy traveler. For dinner, I got fish ‘n chips, Stu got a chicken/shrimp fajita combo plate. Both were huge servings and we brought enough home for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow we move to our hotel for three nights. Tomorrow at six is our granddaughter Olivia’s graduation ceremony. On Saturday, we’ll be at her graduation party. Then on Sunday we attend another granddaughter’s dance recital. Monday, we head home…
