Phew! You miss us?

It’s been a busy three weeks since we lasted posted. Here are some of the highlights:

  1. Stu drove the Falcon to the local downtown cruise-in, the last of the year for them. You can see all his photos here.
  2. The gophers appear to be gone and the nighttime cat visits have resumed. (We see them on our security cameras.) Plus the bunnies are spending more time in the pasture.
  3. Stu has finished his outpatient PT for his SI joint pain, but will continue his home PT. He has an appointment for a CT guided cortisone shot on the 25th.
  4. Stu is in the process of purchasing a second old 1965 Ford Ranchero, he will pick it up on the 17th. Read his blog update HERE.
  5. He is moving his office furniture into the unfinished office and sliding the current Ranchero over to allow the new one to sit beside it. Yup, definitely a hobby barn/garage!
  6. I had my annual dermatology appointment resulting in four biopsies and two frozen spots. The exam was stopped once the four biopsy spots were noted. Once the results are in, another exam will be scheduled to complete the initial one. Phew! Results in another 1-2 weeks.
  7. We have two more Carnival cruises coming in 2026. Eight days Canada on the Carnival Sunshine, a ship class we’ve never been on before, out of Norfolk in October of 2026. Seven Days Eastern Caribbean on the very Italian ship, the Venezia, in December of 2026, sailing out of Port Canaveral.
  8. We will be booking a Disney cruise for our youngest (and last) grandchild. Most probably it will be in Jan/Feb of 2027. He will be four.
  9. We booked a special cruise for my 80th birthday in September of 2027. We’re going back to Europe. We will fly into London, cruise the British Isles for 14 days on Holland America, then fly back home. And yes, we will be on the cruise ship for my birthday. We will be visiting both Scotland AND Ireland. Oh, and a stop in New Amsterdam for good measure.
  10. We added a little leprechaun rubber duck for our visit to Ireland. We’ll bring him and our Scottish duck on the cruise for photo ops.
  11. Stu spent some time burning up trash and other stuff. Fun photo below.
  12. Stu seasoned the Blackstone and has been using it to cook his breakfast as well as dinners.
  13. Stu has been busy mowing and doing a little yard work cleanup – he can’t wait until October when he gets a break!

I’ve probably missed something, but that’s the majority of our last three weeks. Yup, we’ve been busy. Here are a few key photos in order of the listed things above…

So that catches us up for a bit – no idea when the next post will arrive!

Ciao for now!
