So what else is new? The cold (brrr, cold) weather has moved in and the heat is running. What we had a couple weeks ago was just a tease. We’ll be in the 50s most of this week and maybe the low 60s. One day is forecasting a low of 28. Yeah, BRRR!
Stu has finished winterizing everything that needed winterizing and will continue with some of the little things that need to be fixed in the house (we love our smart fan switch but now can’t turn on the fan light when the fan is running). I really look forward to getting lights in our closets and an illuminated bathroom wall switch.
I did get my ghost door decoration replaced with this one from Amazon. Of course it was only up for a week before I had to change to something for Thanksgiving.
I’ll be busy this month since I decided to tackle NaNoWriMo again. I’ve been successful in writing three novels this way and with my two prequels done, Always on Duty and Paradise Dawn, I’m going to start on my new series, Red Line Coffee Mysteries. I plan to write a prequel first this time, then on to book one. Not sure if I will publish when they’re done or wait till I have all four books written. That would be a late spring date. What do you think? Would you like them as they come out or all at once?
Cooper is still finding ways to get out of the fence….sigh. He loves squeezing through spots that Murphy can’t get through. Then Murphy barks because his brother is outside the fence. Stu keeps plugging the escape spots and he keeps finding more. Double sigh….
