After several cloudy, drizzly, chilly days it was nice to have a sunny one. While the high was projected to be in the low 50s, but was comfortable in the sun when dressed appropriately. A local store had their grand re-opening today (new owners) and it’s just up the road from us.
They were planning on food trucks and vendors in addition to the goods in the store. Here are a few photos. We saw a lot of nice things, some antiques, some homemade, and some high-end crafts. We were a bit disappointed in the food offerings, only two and neither with anything we would want for lunch.
I dressed in all wool and Stu took a couple photos of me for my Instagram account. Here is what I’m wearing (so comfy as well as warm, plus holds no odors).
- wool& Everett tunic
- Minus33 merino mock turtleneck
- Woolx Stella leggings
- Branwyn bra and undies
- Forcool merino socks
- Allbirds Wool Runner shoes
- Brixton Messer Wool fedora
But all in all, a nice day out!

Cute outfit! Looking good!!
Thanks and SOOOO comfortable. That is key for me…
Love your hats! Leaving tomorrow for our European adventure! Drove to Ft Lauderdale today
I have so many and rarely wear them. I need to do it more but then again, I don’t go out all that often. LOL!
