A bit of an eclipse and a late night visitor…

We knew we were in the low 90s of totality for the eclipse, but also knew the weather forecast wasn’t the greatest. 90% chance of rain and a mostly cloudy day. But the rain arrived in the morning was left in the early afternoon. Our “totality” was around 2 pm, so we donned our eclipse glasses and went out to see if the sun would peek through the clouds enough to see anything. It did, a couple of times and we grabbed a few photos, both with and without the filter for our phone that came with our glasses.

Of course, once it was all over, the sky cleared and the rest of the afternoon was sunny. LOL!

Our visitor? We have security cameras on all sides of our pole barn and often see the feral (or neighbor’s) cat(s) running behind the barn at night. Once we saw a fox, this was a few years back. Last night they visited again.

The rest of the week shows cloudy with rain and cooler temps, a bit nicer over the weekend, then another week of rain. Looks like April showers will be bringing May flowers!

Did you see the eclipse? Get any good photos? Do you see any wildlife in your yard? How’s your weather?

Ciao for now!
