Stu has had a productive week, finishing up the garage toolbox setup and working on installing the conduit for water/power/WiFi from the house to the pole barn (Backend of Nowhere Garage). Our teen-age neighbor, Justin, stopped by and helped out (as he often does). Here are a few photos…
Before he turned in the trencher, he installed a permanent drain for our rain barrel. Prior to this we used a temporary garden hose to drain it. In the first photo you can just see the bottom corner of the rain barrel.
The #2doods haven’t changed their routine much, other than enjoying the cooler days outside with Stu. Here are two short videos as they went to feed the fish in our pond.
Me? Not so much with half a day lost to computer issues, everyday chores & distractions, poor sleep thanks to hot flashes, doing research for the book I’m working on and just general blah-ness. But, I have written words every day but one since Nov 1st and I like the way things are shaping up. I had fun naming some new characters and businesses, too.
Till next week….
Good for you keeping him busy and out of your hair.
For sure! Hugs to you and Bill!
As the days pass, we wonder where time went.
Drenching is quite the job. When we lived in south Jersey did one to provide water to the horse pasture. Here we did a much shorter one laying lines for two RV sites. Exhausting for sure.
Makes you wonder how we’ll be doing 20 years from now…always something that needs to be done, isn’t there.
Those hot flashes suck, especially at night when they wake you up!!
I agree!
