Definitely not the #2doods who are enjoying the mid-60s temps combined with sunshine. I’d love to be out there with them, but I need to be writing and have never been able to see my laptop clearly outdoors.
Stu has been. He found a deal on the metal counter top he wanted for his work area and has been busy adjusting things to make it fit. He’s quite proud of it and rightly so!
Not much else is new. We are quite ready for spring…and so are our flowers.
I finally found a fun little front door hanger that I love – the little gnome comes with a bunch of things to hold in his hands to represent the time of year. I just took down the heart and put up the shamrock. You can get him at Amazon.
Yesterday was a happy day. My new shoes from Allbirds arrived – Wool Runner Mizzles in deep emerald. (I think it’s closer to teal, but what do I know?) These are high tops, my second pair, my others are all low. They are all so comfortable (the Mizzles are more water resistant than the regular Wool Runners – I have both). I wore a pair without socks almost every day of our 14 day cruise. I can’t remember the last time I could wear shoes without socks and not end up with sweaty feet. Oh, and they sell replacement inner soles!
As I’ve said before, I’m addicted to these shoes. So much, I joined their affiliate program. Right now, if you order a pair using THIS LINK, you’ll get $15 off! Oh, and you can see my burgundy Everett tunic from Wool& here – I’m on day 73 of the 100 day challenge. You can follow me HERE (and see all my past daily photos).
Time to get back to writing – afternoons work best since I end up spending the morning with emails, marketing, social media, and yes – the dreaded tax preparations for our accountant.
