It’s another cold and day here in middle Tennessee (at least the rain is gone and it’s mostly sunny), but it is Easter Sunday so sending a Happy Easter out to all who celebrate. Stu is busy prepping for his trip to Maryland. He’s taking the motorcycle which requires a little more thought due to weather changes. While there, he will get his annual dental and hearing checkups done as well as see old friends (both in age and duration) and get in a lot of kids/grandkids/great-grandkids time.
Today I’m doing laundry and updating blogs. I mean, who knew I’d end up with four semi-active blogs. Wondering what they are? Here you go:

If you follow my author blog, you know I FINALLY finished the first draft of Mochas and Memories, a companion story to my Red Line Coffee Shop mysteries. It still has a way to go (edits), but now I can quickly (I hope), finish the first draft of another short read.
The #2doods are loving the spring weather – except when it’s raining. They stand under to overhang on the deck and look out. Nope, not going. And back in they come, until later when bodily urges send them on their way. When they were younger, they didn’t care. Guess they are now officially fair weather dogs (same as us when it comes to the motorcycle).
I had my annual eye exam, all was good. One tear duct plug was gone so they inserted a new one. No changes – reading glasses still working. Since my eyes were dilated, we decided to go to the movies where we saw the new Dungeons & Dragons movie. It was my choice since Tuesday is our 14th anniversary and Stu will be in Maryland. It was a fun movie and you didn’t need to know anything about the game in order to enjoy it. Lots of action and great humor.
The next ten days will be spent letting the dogs in and out (please, let it warm up again so I can open the back door and use the magnetic screen for them), and working on my Halloween themed short read. As you can see by the trees in our back yard, spring is well on the way here.
